Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

People work a level above their title

If BH still wants me to do the job that a person who is level above me should be responsible for, then BH should adequately compensate me for that.
I wonder how many more people are working a level above the position they are paid for?
The management style in this company is, to put it mildly - terrible.

how much did it cost GE to close all the offices and lay off all the employees in Aberdeen . Must be a lot but they had to stop the rot caused by local baker management who were dragging performance into the gutter. You have to laugh at this unbelievable mess.

GE had to pull out because aberdeen was losing money big time. Everyone keeping quiet because huge failure and massive embarassment.

Speaking of "pulling out," GE did not pull out fast enough and the result is Ms. Baker is a "little pregnant."

Can't wait to see how many of their little Ba_ _ards survive and thrive here.

For aberdeen to close all its offices is a huge huge c-up. No wonder peeps are scared to say anything. Better to open up lads. Face up to your problems - you f-up big time get over it that’s why bkr shut you down. You neeed to own up before the healing process can start. This is good advice from the stoneywood guy.

Promote high enough and you don't have to work at all, just take credit for everything your people produce

a company won’t pull out of a location and close 15 offices and lay off a few thousand just becuz it wants to go green. Must have been forced into it like losing big contracts

I work a level "below" my title. Keeps my boss happy and he is on top of me only once a day; hoping he doesn't have any co_oties that I can't get rid off🤣

I was always amazed that such a small city could have such a high percentage of eejits in the general population, and they all appeared to be working for Baker Hughes as Directional Drillers (pond life form).

“People work a level above their title”

Easy fix.

Read your offer letter and do what it says, no more, no less. If it isn’t stated in the offer of employment, then it isn’t required. BH pays for one scoop, so give them one scoop.
