Every other person I know is impacted in Nordics! They shrunk it more ..
- 5 years of TD experience tossed out the door, no notice, no consideration of relocation to a new group. Does anyone want my TD umbrella? I would rather get soaked.

So far, CSM, SE, CSS, and AEs have been affected. I personally know of one of each and 2 CSMs. The CSM and SE were 20 plus year vets that knew TD better than anyone I know. Crazy to let that kind of talent go. I would think they would find a way to reassign them or give them an option to move roles, but at this point, we are numbers on a spreadsheet that need to be cut to support the new strategy. It's business, nothing personal, right?

I get the frustration and feel terribly sorry for all folks affected. Wish all of you land a much better job in a great company. Having said that, if one looks at number of sales and new logos (where SE are needed) this doesn't justify the headcount. This is right, painful management decision. No new product to sell, no need for experts to sell it. Simple
Customer Success Managers got the axe along with Sales Engineers and SEM's. The common thread seems to be "people with talent and value" as far as I can tell.

Laying off technical SE’s when they are already stretched to the limit is an impressive management decision. Are we going to start using Industry Consultants as SE’s?
Just heard about a highly experienced SE and an SEM getting let go. WTF... the practical side of me can see why SEMs might be in the crosshairs given the IBM transition, but an SE??
