Thread regarding DST Systems layoffs

Only bare minimum

I have given up investing any effort here. I see that it just isn't worth it. Moreover, I feel stupid next to those who do almost nothing and still are much more appreciated.

Even the greatest workaholics give up working hard here. My question is how much harder can you work, but still only work the bare minimum?

Never do more than the bare minimum. Thats what the DST managers will think your doing even if you work 80 hours a week, skip summer vacations and wait till the end of cold December for vacations, so you can accomodate DST's schedule, not yours. Work yourself to the bone and they say you do the bare minimum. So just do the bare minimum anyway.

become a "subject matter expert" then you can sit around and do nothing. once in a while someone dares to ask a question. thats it

I’ve been doing next to nothing since ssnc took over. Maybe an hour or two hours a day for years now. It’s glorious, almost free money! Thanks Bill!
