Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Their business decisions are d-mbfounding

I came here from a company where the management was terrible. However, even there the leadership did not make such d-mb business decisions as is the case here. If this is not the company where the d-mbest business decisions are being made then it is certainly at the top of the list of companies with the worst decisions.

When did JlM become a tech company? Sure Citrix pays well for S Florida and is almost on par with some MSFT comps. The market adjustments have been particularly nice in the past 3-5 years for higher eng grades. Our competition is now global with remote work. Most Citrites are leaving for Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Databricks , VMWare... No one is going to JM that I know of. For those confused by JM this is a local company that owns Lexus dealerships. It's a good local company, has some IT positions, but it is not tech.

"Citrix people are underpaid especially in technology market right now. "

Is this a joke? Managers here are in the $150's.. Directors are in the $180's.. You cannot touch that in the South Florida market. Managers at JM Family are in the $160's.

Citrix people are underpaid especially in technology market right now. I left and so did many others I know and are making anywhere from 1.5-3x what they are making now.

many people who get hired here are shellshocked when they realize what a massive mistake they made coming here, especially considering how much Citrix is paying. Now, they are stuck here in an overpaid role until they can find a new role paying what Citrix is paying -- not likely -- or until they leave a and take a pay cut.
