Map with all Sears stores that were once open

I've been trying to find a map or a list with all the Sears stores that were once open, since 1893. The closest I could get is this: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/10/15/sears-is-closing-another-142-stores-heres-a-map-of-the-locations-it-has-left.html
That is exactly what I'm looking for but it only covers stores since 2008. Does anybody here know a place that covers all of them? Thanks in advance.

I wouldn’t consider or advise using this link for reference, as it’s missing far too much information.

That's why we all posted here. Because no one cares. If anyone cared, they be doing something other than being on this website.

Here's a list of Chicago A, B, C, and D stores that probably is missing some. Definitely doesn't include Dealer Stores (Hometown) nor any of the 1980's and prior Catalog Stores of which I knew Oak Lawn had one.
Irving Park
Western
Lawrence
Chicago Ridge (Yes, THAT Chicago Ridge)
Orland
Fox Valley
Joliet
Woodfield
Hawthorn
Ford City
Homan
Northbrook
Downers Grove
Southlake
Evanston
Englewood
Roseland
Harlem/North
Berwyn
79th
River Oaks
Park Forest
Oakbrook
Spring Hill
Carol Stream
Fox Lake
Gold Mill
Both Men's and Women's stores in the Tower
Elgin
Glen Ellyn
Waukegan
Highland Park
Maywood
Blue Island

Many of these gathered from Sears Ads in old Chicago Tribune archives.

I have no intention of making a map or escalator videos with this.

That's true about the 1st store opening in 1925. A lot of us forget Sears, Roebuck & Co. was strictly mail order from 1888-1925.

You wouldn't need 1888, or 1893 for that matter. The first Sears retail store opened October 5, 1925: https://www.14news.com/story/36530400/on-this-day-in-1925-first-sears-retail-store-opens-in-evansville/

@1jdc+1eSQuYnf: yes, it’s missing several stores. I was looking for info on one the other day and it’s nowhere to be found on this list.

No list is complete without current and former Sears Hometowns and other various small formats.

I can't speak for other states, but that NJ list is incomplete to say the least.

I'm not sure if any national maps were preserved. Here's a list of all current and closed stores
