Thread regarding Activision Blizzard layoffs

Just how fu---d are we? I'm going to assume that if the acquisition goes through, and I don't see why it wouldn't, there will be a major restructuring with major cost cutting. I don't think anybody is safe at this point. While at it, am I the only one who's been caught completely off guard by this? I had no idea there was even a remote possibility of something like this happening.
