Nobody knows better than I do what a cr---y place Kroger is to work. From lousy pay to being overworked to daily abuse from managers and so many other things. The thing is, so many people are choosing to stay in that environment. It took me three years to realize that nothing will change for the better but I did realize it and I left. I took advantage of the current labor shortage and landed a much better job with better pay. Everybody working at Kroger can do the same thing. I wouldn't be saying this under normal circumstances, but when the job market is as good as it is now, there are no excuses.
