Stores closing announcements no doubt, the shortage numbers are the worst in company history. Sales were good due to Biden inflation and the fact people were given money that they didn’t need to pay taxes on helped.
I hear the ops/vs is now going to walk around with cleaning stuff to clean the store as he ponders his life decisions of staying at macys.
Apparently they are hiring a style crew. Useless position just like the stylist executive who walks around doing nothing and rings up customers like an associate but gets paid more money for doing nothing. So they are gonna be more of those stylists but associates. They got money to spare now. Useless positions that will be cut as soon as business goes bad. We had style advisors in our store before and those positions all got cut during covid.
Probably what's happened in years past:
- People in roles they no nothing about make decisions.
- Creating a new position by combing jobs and cutting the best person.
- Doing absolutely nothing to help stores with theft
- Decisions being made from personnel who don't work inside stores.
And so on....
ops is going to wear a giraffe suit and hop around the store doing nothing. AP is going to stop reading chronicles of kojak and start reading spiderman the managers are all going to sit in the officer all day avoiding any type of real work unless corporates catches them... then they will be forced to do fulfillment
