Got another job at another shop as a trader. When I give my "2 weeks notice," will I immediately be walked out and paid out?
Currently in Shell's trading group.
Or will I be able to ride the 2 week journey?

If they are competent, they wouldn't let you trade or risk any of their money knowing you are leaving. I would guess they would just pay you out, or give you something to do that doesn't involve trading for a few weeks.
What day on payroll to get bonus paid out?
make sure you collect your bonus before giving notice …..
You ride that 2 week out. Don't take no for an answer. Make them call security to escort you out. You will become the most epic trader of all time.
Will they be paying out your unused vacation?
If your current role is commercial rather than support (mid/back office) I would say you'd probably be walked/paid out. Otherwise, it's probably up to your line manager, but more than likely you'd see the same outcome, especially if you tell them you accepted a role as a trader
Best guess is that you’ll be turning in your phone and laptop immediately.
Regardless, when you leave, scream and curse and throw things and knock things over. Your name will become legend.
Has anyone from that group ever been allowed to work out a notice? It seems like the sort of group where they wouldn't allow it. Like sales. or infosec. If I was the one making the call, I probably wouldn't allow it. But some companies do, and some don't.
In general though, expect when you give a notice that the company may decide to walk you out right then or at any point up to your stated last date. Because even in cases where they typically allow folks to work the full notice period, they may make exceptions from time to time. I know I've seen a couple particularly toxic folks walked out, the moment they gave notice, because good riddance.
