I can't be the only one who feels this way. I can't remember when I last had the energy to do even the most mundane things after work. I am constantly tired and all the free time I have is spent trying to rest and catch up on sleep. I used to read at least a book a week, now I've been stuck on the same one for three months. Cutting people and dropping their work on the rest of us is going to destroy my health, mental and physical.

Those who are still here and follow the rules to a tee are getting the brunt of everything. Higher caseload, bigger backlogs, more pressure. I get panic attacks now waiting for my phone to ring just waiting for new cases to come my way. Im actively looking for other opportunities.
The ones that remain are truly suffering. Expectations are unreasonable as there are simply not enough people left to get the bare minimum done. I’m not sticking with this insanity and getting out as soon as I can. There has to be better options out there.
Please leave the company. There are plenty out there that offer unlimited PTO and more money. I have recently left for those reasons alone, not to mention the burnout and constant worry about layoffs. I too love to read and I lost the ability to take pleasure in most of my hobbies. It’s just a job and they will replace you without thinking twice. They will recover from this major mistake but you don’t need to sit it out.
Citrix is the worst place. I remember not enjoying Sunday’s or time off. You need to leave. So many companies care about your mental health in times like these. Citrix will never be a company that does well. It will never get better.
