GESPP purchase price errors?

Anyone else participate in the GESPP in 2021 and have the purchased price being the higher of the two closing balances (Jan 4 2021 and Jan 4 2022)? Any insights or thoughts as to how this would get fixed and when?

Your fidelity cost basis is the market price when the shares become yours. So it’s likely that share market price was $44.64 at start of year.

You’ll owe taxes on $44.64 - $30.63 per share. Some shares automatically sold to cover your estimated taxes.

Purchase price was $30.63 but after it’s deposited into your account fidelity will only read your cost basis around the $44 mark where Shell purchased the shares

same here. it's showing $44.64 cost basis per share instead of $36.03

another Shell "lower for longer" cost saving effort?

Are you sure you read it correctly? GESPP based on Jan 2021 share price, as per the banner message on my Equate Plus account.
