Sedgwick covid claim process

If you catch covid you automatically need to go via Sedgwick and even though you submit documents with proof it takes forever to get approval, we have a covid-19 resource page and they make it seem like an easy process but you have to jump via hoops and they “verizon” does not want a CS representative at Sedgwick to speak with you all communication needs to be done via the email anything for you not to get paid when your sick.

Biggest case spike of Covid in the US is happening right now and you're wondering why they're so backed up? Sedgwick doesn't have the staff to support all the claims live person which is why they do it via email. That being said, Sedgwick isn't Verizon. It's like a customer getting mad at Verizon, because Asurion didn't have their phone in stock for an insurance claim.

They are normally difficult to deal with. It was ezpz the first time I got covid. I hear that they are just really backed up right now with so many covid cases. It was not fun wondering if I was going to get paid while I had covid though. Terrible company and service to have to deal with all around.
