Are there any union Nordstrom. Now more than ever it is needed. There are no full time employees except for managers. All associates are variable employees meaning you work when the business calls for it. We have none of the benefits the management has from pto accruing from day one. How can we make this change?

What? Are y’all saying that there are ZERO people in sales that work at least 37.5 hours per week? Do sales people get benefits/insurance anymore?
You work in retail. That's the deal. If you want the perks of a corporate/salaried position you need to find that type of position, at Nordstrom HQ or elsewhere.
Go work at corporate.
Yeah because they often do no call no show and call in or listen or want to work as a team. They do what rhey want. Thats why they dont get 40 hours. Double standard much? The problems fall on managers. They have to with less people. That makes so difficult on the entire team. Talking about union? Do u know that you need to pay union fee? Still doesn’t guarantee they’ll protect you.
You need to change to a different employer.
