I am overjoyed because I can finally leave NS! I got a much better offer, but the search for a new job took months. And just when I thought I would have to stay here for a while, I got an offer. I plan to give notice tomorrow, but I wonder if it's okay to leave without giving a 2 week notice? I'd like to leave right now.

You could give your two weeks notice and ask if they'd be ok with you leaving right away, that way no hard feelings. If they say no you can still walk and it would be the same if you had just done that anyway.
