Customer Service had competent leadership.
Get rid of commission. Most of the time we are working non-sales stuff. I sure as he-l am not going to dust shelves while I wait for customers or make cold calls that everyone hangs up on. Pay me a decent flat rate.

Whowever said stop webinar training below must be on the same call as me. Our District
Manager kept saying ^I don't know^ to everything and someone spoke out and asked if he didn't take the online training, it had all the answers to everything he said he didn't know.

Stop cold calling. Customers hate it. 9 out of 10 hang up after my third word and the last one usually cuses us out before hanging up. This isn't 1980. We are getting as annoying as car warranty calls.

Actually practice what you preach when it comes to value statements. Most mid level just look for ways to not follow the rules. Code of conduct says not to push things on customers they don't want. Pretty much every DM tells you to go out with a basket of accessories the customer doesn't need and they threaten your job if you don't get them to buy three- any means necessary.
Surveys tied to pay is destroying sales. We won't help people who look like they are going to go all Karen on us so our store isn't tied to a survey. People are complaining about everything but how they are treated, from politics to covid, and it still effects our pay.
I would rather lose some pay and feel more secure in my job. I've been here 18 years and it is a mystery day to day if my job is secure, even if I meet all performance goals.
Stop with all these webinar training. They take hours versus what can be done in minutes in a web based training. We had a 5ghee webinar this morning with our leaders that took over an hour then took a web training on the same thing that said more to the point in ten minutes.
Stop shifting stores to partner ownership. They have no accountability.
I would add replace Kate McKinnon in our commercials. She is cringe and terrible. And stop making our commercials so arrogant. BETTER BETTER BETTER. Also I would add, do something about these hour plus wait times on hold, just to be hung up, cold transfered etc. Find a way to track these at home employees who pretend they can't hear you, or just wait on a silent hold until you hang up. I am convinced this is what they are doing. Require them to train in a store for a month to know what the stores can and can't do. Hopefully then we stop getting escalations coming in and they leave more mad when we really can't help them.
They paid me adequately based on my performance like they used to. Also replace upper leadership, time to clean house and get a new CEO that cares about the employees well being not making their job worse for half the pay. Whoever is in charge of pay structure...fire them and get a competent team. Also if they come out with new brands. The customer has had the same exact accessory choice for decades. Time to see what sells and carry it...nothing is worse than a customer saying they don't like what you have to offer and buys the ard from Amazon as you process the order. Oh and if they stop putting our paychecks in the hands of the customer as well...on a 1-10 score we HAVE to score 9 or 10....so 8 and below is a failure and we suffer when one customer wants to take their bad day at us and then we lose money as a team. If I had a tablet and system that works!! I have never had a harder time ringing things up or God forbid I have to go back a screen cause the customer changed their mind last second. They took something that worked and they destroyed it leaving us with the sh-t bo-b we call 2.0 and 360. Lastly if they got rid of the useless once a month mandatory morning meeting forcing us to work weird split shifts for the day so you can hear patty from HR make jokes about her cats and hear the fake cheerleading of the DM and above to work harder and sell more while they collect a 6 figure salary to pretty much talk on zoom all day about the same metrics and how they must have more. No incentive...we just need more for less. Tell them if they double the metrics we will think of filling the fridge (yeah that helps pay inflation on life necessities).
