Has anyone heard about a possible plan to add a tool/hardware and lawn & garden department? Manager said Macy’s wants to try to replicate what Sears had before they left most malls. If the test works they might add major appliances like JCP did. Manager said there will be a run of 10 test stores in the top locations across a handful of markets. It could work, I mean, if they can add a toysrus department, there is nothing they won’t try to sell lol.

I think they should add an outdoors/ camping/ fishing section. Also add more fine China and tabletops. I like the idea of books and cards as well.
