An out-of-state limited liability company recently sold a property located just off Oxmoor Boulevard to an Alabama-based company for $1.43 million.

Sears Roebuck & Co., listed as Transform SHS Properties LLC with a mailing address at 3333 Beverly Road, Hoffman Estates, Illinois, sold the property located at 196 Vulcan Road on Dec. 3.

The buyer, Ogletree Holdings Inc., whose mailing address is listed as 2131 English Village Lane, Birmingham, purchased the property from the seller.

According to public records, the purchasing entity in this deal is registered to Stephen P. Ogletree. Public records also indicate that a portion of the transaction was financed by a mortgage.

Ogletree is the owner of AdventureMotorCars.com located at 3117 Fifth Ave S. AdventureMotorCars.com specializes in buying, selling and building NAS Land Rover Defenders. Ogletree plans to relocate his dealership to the property on Vulcan Road.

Hugo Isom, executive vice president of JLL, a commercial real estate services company, represented Sears Roebuck & Co. in brokering the deal. Shepard Agers and Jake Byers with Ironvest Partners represented the buyer in the transaction.

The property shares a common border with the former U.S. Treasury building located at 196 Vulcan Road. That building was recently purchased by the owner of Birmingham Luxury Motors who plans to relocate from the Southside to Homewood as well.
