Snowflake stock soars on strong revenue and Q4 guidance

Wake up TDC, results matter! No innovation, poor leadership, rookie CEO and CFO, even worse execution. Awful Q3, lowering guidance for the year and 2022 projected to be flat. Unacceptable. All the time the product teams continue to deflect, blaming everyone other than themselves. We spend far too many cycles on DEI hand waving and virtue signaling. Combine this with with an incoherent strategy, is there any wonder SNOW is cleaning up?

Activist investor or PE target, this is now beyond a joke. #gameover

@1lle+1e6oXv4S what “new product” are you talking about? And don’t say “Vantage” since that’s just the same old database renamed.

How many new logos will Teradata close in 2022?

As our CEO said, let's wait for Q4 results. We have biggest pipeline ever, finally got our strong cloud play in place and the new product is the most demanded in the history of the company. To all short sellers here, pretending to be TD employees - you will get burned, mark my words.

Ok, now compare with teradata, every $3 TDC spend, how much they are making for last year?

Amazon had negative income for many years (and a high stock valuation) before both income and stock price went to the stratosphere.

@crd+1e6oXv4S - Sure, just looking at operating Income allows the "$3 for $1" narrative to play out. However, this is entirely normal for a hypergrowth company. In fact, investors would be skittish if they didn't have negative operating income at this point in the game.

The stock price speaks for itself. It's almost universally recognized that SNOW is on the right trajectory.

As for a comparison to Enron - well that's just silly.

"For every $3 they spend they make a dollar", how do you determine that?

@zzj+1e6oXv4S Just like everybody else at TDC - you don’t understand your competition. I’d you would actually read the release you would see that Snowflake had a positive net income. Their year over year revenue more than doubled.

@zzj+1e6oXv4S Must be CTO SB “don’t know about snow” since he acted like he didn’t know about them for seven years. Asleep at the wheel. Is he still at TDC? You are in denial….

Yeah don't know about snow. For every $3 they spend they make a dollar. That's not a sound strategy. But hey Enron was great whilst it lasted.
