Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

BH is actually a very lucky company

The talented people that this company still has are not there thanks to good management but thanks to pure luck only. I think the same for all other results, unfortunately, all good things are the result of some other factors, not the vision, plan and work of the management. The only question is how long will that luck last?

What talented people are even left? All the talent were capable of finding other jobs and have left. We’re left with those that nobody wants.

Luck is not a strategy. Eventually it will fail.

The person who wrote this has clearly never worked at Baker Hughes.

Baker Hughes has a lot of things. Talent isn’t one of them.

Luck runs out. Save for a few eggheads left that develop good tech for the company, the rest of the organization sucks the blood 🩸 until it will eventually die off. BH has always had great tech, just pi-s poor operations and service
