Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

How long will Wrike last?

How long do you think Wrike lasts? My company tried it but we hated it. I feel like it might last 1 year?

Citrix has stopped working on the merger and announced internally that Wrike will be working autonomously.

Wrike is not a bad product. Though it’s among 100s of other task management software, where there are already market leaders. It’s an overly competitive segment and needs focussed investment to continue to be relevant. Force fitting it to WorkSpace use case is a big mistake. We have done similar mistake in the past with Podio (which is a mini version of Wrike) and Sapho.

Citrix should have left alone Podio and Sapho too. Both these products would have done much better that way.

The best option both for Citrix and Wrike will be to sell it off and let it grow as a standalone product. if not it is another zombie product in the making,
where it will neither be alive nor be dead but continue to be a distraction.
