Thread regarding Shell Oil layoffs

Earliest I can leave and still receive 2021 bonus?

title. looks like the pemex divestment is on hold until further notice. was expecting to receive my 2021 bonus in mid-dec and gtfo. now, this changes things. if Jan3 is my last day, will i be eligible for the full 2021 bonus?

All bonuses are discretionary and therefore unless it’s in the bank it ain’t yours… I waited till every last possible penny was in my bank before resigned.

if the deal closes before end of the year you get prorated bonus. if after end of the year you get full 2021 bonus + prorated 2022 bonus I would think.

If you are moving over to Pemex as a result of the sale, or you are receiving severance as a result of the sale, you get the bonus regardless. If you are resigning, you need to be here when the bonus is paid out.

You need to stay on payroll on Feb 1st to receive your last year bonus. Check HR global pay policy
