Thread regarding Allscripts layoffs

With all the bashing of the new business sales team out here, the reality is the lack of sales is not their fault.
It's been probably 5 years since there has been a new Sunrise sale (not existing Allscripts) customer that was over 500 beds. Since then, all the sales have been 150 beds and under mostly under 100.
The Sunrise platform is more clumsy than Epic Connect, Cerner Community and Meditech in that it less integrated and requires more technology which drives up the overall cost.
Word on the street is that Cerner and Meditech regularly come in at about 50% less in costs over a contract term than Sunrise in the Azure Community Model.
Also, Sunrise and Allscripts have never been known in the industry as a "Community Solution" where the other vendors have.
This still doesn't excuse unwarranted promotions and tagging along of little buddies....
