Thread regarding Shell Oil layoffs

Omicron impacts

There is a lot of news about a slightly weaker vaccine effectiveness against the omicron variant, oil heading for the big monthly loss, how omicron impacts oil demand... I hope that March 2020 deja vu will not happen, but I am certainly worried about what will happen next with this variant, ie how will it affect Shell and our jobs?

Moderna CEO said that current vaxxes might not be enough, so spreading through the USA is a real possibility. And OPEC is debating production cuts in anticipation of an economic downturn. You work in energy and live on Earth. Don't be so sure you'll be just fine.

Not me, got my bag of cash ready to be invested in non-Shell oil and gas stock the next time oil goes negative…😆 Realistically, you should be more worried about BvB sinking the company, than Omicron.
