Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Signs that a store will close:

I am terribly anxious that my store will close before I can find another job.
I thought Black Friday would be much busier than it was and now my doubts are even greater, although colleagues say that our store will certainly not be closed soon. So I would love to hear from experiences of others if there were any signs and what they were before your store closed down?

Low stock, empty shelves, discount rug department, store itself looks rundown, investments are no longer made in the store.

You don’t get as much new tickets/merchandise anymore. Stock rooms will be mostly empty.
