Macys has central location to check out and no more dept checks outs much like ross, kohls and Tjmax ,. This would explain why there is no more ops.vs going forward because non of these stores have this job . Ops will be laid off or put on the floor so they can no longer hide in their office all day pretending to work. (My ops just plays sports games on his phone all day while his vs does his job) Ap will also shrink as well as sales managers and the captain position will most likely go.. You also have no name brands much like the stores i mentioned. Macys is now the Modern day Kmart

Centralized checkouts have to do with staffing not Ops.
From what I heard, sales managers will do for their departments what the OVM did. OVM positions will be gone. Captains will still be there, more of them but less sales managers.
