I’ve seen Shell go through many changes throughout my career, but this time the only thing I’ve seen or can figure out is “Shell is Getting Out of Oil and Gas Production”. Can someone give me any idea as to Shell’s future? Just interested in where I need to place my divested portfolio.

shell is pending the same amount of capex on upstream and integrated gas projects as Chevron is. Hardly getting out of oil and gas ….
always look at what will make the people in control the most money. will that be selling off o&g assets and investing in wind farms and solar power? not bloody likely! words are misdirection. wait for it, wait for it ...
Spinout US. Sell ROW O&G to China. Merge the shell of Shell into BP.
Ben uses the term "remainco" so you know there are recent board discussions about breaking the co up.

I always enjoy the WOKE generation unrealistic responses to others responses when they really don't have a clue on the economy and long term out look of any company. You my friend are the one who needs to pull your head out of you A_____ and talk to study economics and understand how this country and our way of life was developed. At present China is really giving us a lesson on economics and you really have no clue.
Shell is going no where. If Shell sinks as everyone here suggests many people will loose retirement investments and pensions, not jus O&G folks - teachers, firefighters, most people who have invested in mutual funds. Shell will pull out of Exploration and focus on Development, Production, and Downstream. This will give Shell plenty of time to figure out how to make more money. For all the clowns and parrots there are some really smart folks too!
