Email from Tony and Donna just confirmed mandatory vaccines for ALL uS employees coming because Citrix is a federal contractor. Facing termination if you don't get the jab or a religious or medical exemption. I have a feeling the current annual turnover of 15% will quickly become more than that or there will be some legal challenges.

Just go get vaccinated.
I would LOVE to see a mass protest in FTL. Citrix wouldn't know what to do if employees walked off and started protesting in-front of the offices!!! Would crack me up. My last day is in about a week or so, so doesnt bother me either way.

Keep in mind that the federal mandate is a blanket statement. Not everyone at Citrix works for federal and its only a sub-part of Citrix. So making this mandatory across the board is just wrong.
I am personally vaccinated, and I could careless if anyone else is. It's their choice, not mine. People say the vaccine could cause problems and I agree. I took a risk when taking it, but it was my choice. If I had the choice again, I probably would not get it.. I have one of the side affects that supposedly "dont exist". The loud ringing in my ear, which has NEVER happened my entire life, up until about 2 weeks ago. It lasted about a week and then went away. No other side affects for me.
Does this make me worry about possible long-term issues? Of course. But I cannot change the past. It is what it is..
For those that say "the company can't mandate what I put in my body" do you realize that if you went to school in anywhere but a third-world country, you had to have many vaccinations and no, you didn't have a choice if you wanted an education.
From the people who once said that "people with strong work ethics read their work email during their vacation", nothing suprises me any more.
They do THIS on purpose.
They hope people will leave without a package.
I don't care about the jab, but what I do care about is that NO company should dictate what people put into their body.
This time is the jab but what about next time?
