I think the board needs to consider a large retention bonus for our CEO. You have to pay for top talent and we can't risk losing the Steve Jobs of EdTech to a competitor or Silicon Valley. I have heard that both Tim Cook and Mark Zuckerberg are constantly trying to woo our CEO to C-level positions at their companies. His response is always the same: "I work for a mission based company that serves the student by disrupting education. FULL. STOP."

I am happy to see that our CEO hasn’t taken a bonus. He is always a straight shooter and doesn’t sugar coat things. Under his bold leadership Cengage has transformed from a stuffy old publishing dinosaur to a bleeding edge EdTech concern.

I’m sure Q2 will continue to show that Cengage Unlimited is an unmitigated success as well as an activation juggernaut. Revenue may decline slightly because of the GOP nonsense going on with blocking the infrastructure bill and the illegal justices of the SJC but rest assured we are changing the way the world learns.

Full stop!

Let us not be too hasty, we all know this is a critical time and even though at least a hundred families can be kept from homelessness just by eliminating dear leaders position and share the money with those who actually work, it would be catastrophic to cengage learning if such a brilliant underpaid and under respected CEO were terminated. Let us be clear, under no circumstances shall we sacrifice dear fearless leader to support so many loyal dedicated cengage workers, no, quite the opposite dear leader should be girded and supported with a severe pay increase. How will we survive without his greatness?

That must be why they couldn't afford the older folks and had to can them.

It’s obvious to all of us he’s vastly underpaid and under-appreciated. I think it’s time we come together and demand this mountain of a man, this marketing genius, this brilliant strategist finally get double the salary and options otherwise this mighty cengage ship may very well sink into the abyss without this monumental man at the helm.

Too bad Pearson beat Cengage to that sweet deal with Simon Fuller for an Academy of Pop ... basically tips for creating TikTok videos and/or becoming a Spice Girl.
That’s bringing excellence to the educational software sector!

Ha ha! He acts pretty stuck up for a guy that doesn't make that much money! How much is 30 pieces of gold going for these days?

The clock is ticking on the Q2 investor report. We'll see if all that hubris is still there. Pearson got its clock cleaned. Why would Cengage be any different especially since we don't have the benefits of online schools like Pearson does?
