Our "leadership" very often seems so lost and as if they don't know what they are doing. It's a real miracle that GE is not sinking even faster. I may not be right, but it doesn’t seem to me like they have a clear vision and goal for this company.

Let’s see … we have a company a$$ smoocher for a President, The mute & Invisible Man as the VP, and a dopey loud mouth for BA. Do they know what they are doing? I don’t think so, and whatever they’ve done hasn’t been in the membership’s best interest.
Talk about getting screwed, 🤮
Everyone keeps making the mistake that GE is a manufacturing company.
It's not, it's a finance and services company. Bulk of profit comes from financing and services, that's the bottom line.
So they focus there and actual supply chains and manufacturing is an afterthought.
Ohhh upper management has a plan of action to dismember the membership. The Jab just made it that much easier with the media. Jab will get rid of around 80-130 members then the layoff will cut another 80-100. Upper leaderships plan is to close the Schenectady Campus it’s out dated.
Culp, the BOD and his senior leadership have a plan: pillage and plunder the company and leave the carcass for whomever is left.
For many years GE has been plagued with poor middle management. They run people through idealistic training in Crotonville as a reward. A few managers turn out ok but many don't have a clue, searching for promotions and bonuses as their main focus. This branding cr#p is huge waste of time and energy. I worked on many projects that only purpose is to get manager attention and promotions. Oh well thats GE
