Just wanted to try and give a glimmer of hope here. After years of being fed up, I finally decided to look around. Found a lessor position for 25% more pay at a direct competitor. There is nothing worth staying here. Job sucks, pay sucks, benefits suck. It will not get better. If you are fed up, at least look around, there is almost certainly something better out there.

Stay away from intrado, very unstable employment! Not financially sound! Doing more with less, a complete mess and reactive environment! NO proactive approach to the Cisco business nor quality customer service, trying to make money the wrong way!
I think they mean they're not going to have as many responsibilities but they're still getting paid more.
