They laid everyone off and used the Pandemic as an excuse. Now they are hurting for people. They need field techs, designers, construction guys etc. They have tried calling people back and a lot of them have given the company the middle finger. Most of them are now working for the same contracting companies we use and they are making more money. Altice does not believe in career progression. Like others have said in the past. Sh%t is getting build half a$$ and we continue to have the same issues. What ever happen to going back to the old ways of trouble shooting and installing like Pragash stated. Now they have been creating positions for people and shifting people around. Keep your eyes open because something is coming. A lot of people are leaving.

I work for cablevision for 28 years breaking my back for this company. Barry Monopoly is a bully and he did nothing but bully me. Pete Odell is the same bully. They put so much work on top of me while
my son was incredibly sick. They knew this and they still dumped on me they offered me no support horrible people. Absolute bullies.
If they need people they are dealing a bad hand. They are picking those with low salaries. And if they come back. There is a list “not eligible for rehire”. HR has a hearing issue when this is asked. Meanwhile in construction and in fiber the list does exist. Who created the list? Some believe Barry Monopoli did it before he left to Suddenlink in Florida. Or it was the former ATS Directors. Or both. No one knows. But I tell you want thing this will create a legal issue down the road. I hope they are ready.
What is sad is alot guys did not want to leave 18 months ago.We were told take the package or leave it and roll the dice,They then call you back and tell you there is no guarantee of having a job? What is a man supposed to do who has a family to support. I loved my job and my customers,I JUST WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND THE LOGIC HERE.They lost the best of the best, people who really cared. Its sad techs worked together ,we stayed late to clean the pools, customers were happy,At one point we were number one in the market,Today we are the laughing stock,in the industry
Karma baby
No one called me back to OSP. They wanted me to look for a posting and apply to a shift I wouldn’t have worked even if I was still there . No thanks . They can keep the ridiculous work loads and high stress. Wouldn’t work for a contractor that does work for them even if It does pay well . Great business decisions .
