People I know went to any company where they could get at least a little better offer. I had a discussion with a colleague about where most TD employees went, in which companies, so I'm interested in what you think?

I went to snowflake but same problems exist there. As soon as it went IPO people got very catty with each other and the culture just stinks. Forever looking over their shoulders at AWS and Azure. I left quickly and have settled into a lot smaller boutique company where I dont feel constrained by the large corporate cultures
Data = Snowflake, Microsoft, Amazon, Google
Apps = Pegasystems, Salesforce, Adobe, Apple
Go to any modern cloud company and you can’t go wrong compared to Teradata. There is a reason no experienced CEO would take the job. The BOD tried to hire an experienced CEO but had to settle for SM. Tough times ahead.
At least 7 have gone to Oracle in the last 6 mo
I went to a place that aligns with my professional interests and career goals. I joined Teradata because I bought into the turnaround story and wanted to be part of that. Once it became clear the BOD and ELT have no interest in turning anything around, I knew it was time to go. Maybe my new company will also disappoint, but so far so good.
Microsoft, AWS, Google, Snowflake and many others.
Places where inidivudals are respected and treated like human beings.
A place where there is the possibility of a future career.
An organisation where people pull in the same direction and high-performing teams are a reality.
You're more like to find a pink unicorn at Teradata than a motivated team.
Reality check - If Teradata built space shuttles like AWS, would you want to ride on it......
There is a toxic blame culture and lack of direction at Teradata.
Just count the number of people leaving.
Snowflake offers substantial RSU’s for new hires.
Snowflake of course. Grass is alot greener here
aws
I just retired after being RIFd. Best decision ever.
