Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

Layoffs in Baker Hughes digital solutions?

I work on the BH digital solutions (Waygate) and there is a spending freeze. Are layoffs coming?

People have already started to jump off the BH digital business. It’s even worse when GE Program kids are leaving on their own! Death spiral? I don’t think this company could deliver a spiral slide for a playground on time. That’s why BH divested oilfield equipment.
Sorry kids, no slides. Just jump off when you get to the top of the ladder.

Leadership running about like GE, looks pretty familiar. Out of easy layoff and equipment sales options. Better start focusing efforts on the things we do well or it's going to be a death spiral

This is what happened at BOD Aberdeen, if there was an issue with a machine it was stripped to fix others that needed to be kept running, good luck

Who knows. The company leadership lacks even the integrity to keep its own employees in the know. The hush hush culture of incompetent people leaders.

Seems like BKR operates as if it were a Family Dollar with little respect for the personnel who help run the business.

On side note, FREEZING digitization only proves how utterly full of SH!tt this company is. What happened with the seamless digital operations? 🤣

This company will fold if Digital Solutions is downsizing. This means the leadership doesn’t understand its own intentions. And doesn’t understand accountability.
