I work there it's a sad place looking for a way out I don't think 1 employee I ever meant was happy there
Wow all this sounds about right I am leaving this abomination of a job haven't had no vacation at all and told cause I have no vacation time and you just can't request time off apparently because you have no time been there 6 months of hard labor and can't take a day off fu rent a center just going to quit one day when I don't show up you will know I am worn down from these deliveries the pay even tho they raised it just ain't worth the abuse my body takes at all
Rent a center is such a depressing job calling the same people up every week over and over again sign them up for auto pay soon as the stuff is in there home they take there card off auto pay there is no way to get these people to pay on time no matter what u do no wonder every rac store is near a li---r store u expect these people to pay ontime but they never paid a bill ontime there entire life think I been there over a year and I actually just started looking for another job they raised me to 17 but it's not worth it alot are raising there wages I think I'll go crazy if I stay there any longer calling the same people over and over and over again on sales lead to have them swear and hang up on me if there prices were better and not charging 1,200 for a ps4 u would get people in the store there store are hurting for sales so u sell to anyone walking in the door and they don't pay u and run off and then your asked why they ain't paying or u are not getting in contact with them COULD BE BECAUSE YOU LITTERALY HAVE A NAME ON A PIECE OF PAPER AND THEY ALREADY CHANGED THEIR NUMBER whoever is changed the application was crazy for doing so
Actually most of those home office people worked in stores, lol that is the funny part! Or is it? Pressure to perform, sad really but mitch is rich, ever hear why he left then how he came back? Snake in the grass that mitch.
Credit is out of control cuz they keep having all these sales events acting like people want stuff then u load current customers up they can't pay they hide simple the 17 bucks ain't worth the dm talking to you like they do ask everyday how many cards u going to clear well I have no clue go to there come everyday they don't answer the door call them 5 times a day from every kind of number they don't pick up I have no clue today who is going to actually pick the phone up so I'll tell u whatever u want to hear all the stores that actually get sales are fake sales wait in 3 or 4 weeks when the returns start again already looking for another job been there 2 months place is a sh-t show the they really don't know what there doing over a home office with these sales events ...
Look, these rto Companies want be like Amazon but never will be. You just cant rent somebody a sofa online, come on be real. Rto is only about cash flow these says and sooner or later you have to pay up. Leave this dying industry before it is too late, the longer you stay the fewer opportunities you will have in the job market.
It only gets worse from here through feb. Out of control sales events on top of out of control credit. Any place to work is better than rac. Go flip a burger for the same pay at least you will be happy at work. Isnt that ALL that matters these days?
I'd recommend Target and Amazon as best options.
