Did anybody hear anything about talks of Home unit getting acquired ? what are the chances of that happening? should we wait for that to happen or leave?

The answer is most companies get offers all the time.
The Chinese would have bought the Home Network business to strengthen their foothold in America and to gain exposure to potential customers. But with the current USA/China friction, that will not happen.
Home unit just boxes products it gets from other IP vendors. Can it box better than the overseas ODM's? No. There is no way someone is going to shell money for this.
There is a buyer for everything :) i think they are just looking for a good deal and not a lowball offer.
They want to sell it, but who is going to buy it?
