I went off the concept of diversity when the chief strategy kid decided he would spend the first 20mins of his intro speech talking about how g-y he was and how being g-y is what defines him. Guess he needed to say that as he doesn't have any business experience to fall back on
This is almost funny. All these white kiss ups posting their Diversity and Inclusion certificates on LinkedIn when they work for a company will all-white leadership. Don’t they know how inauthentic this is? I guess it’s how you get ahead in the new (still white) TDC.
See what value diversity brings: if the strategy guy did not have to be g-y perhaps they could have found someone who can deliver a strategy.
The TDC BOD and ELT combined only has two non-white members. You call that diverse? This is 2021, not 1972. And you call that progress? I thought BLM? Even at the management layer beneath the ELT is devoid of people of color? And they have the audacity to promote how diverse we are. It’s frankly embarrassing and they should back off talking until they make progress.
Wow what progress! Have you checked? The TDC ELT is ALL WHITE. That’s a fact. All their outward diversity messaging is a JOKE. Read Woke, Inc. and you’ll understand how companies like Teradata are only pretending. Talking the talk, not walking the walk. Wake up!
