and competitors are? I am leaving this company soon, but I am sorry for the young people who will come here to work in a company where innovation is no longer a priority. It is enough to compare TD and other competing companies and it will be clear how much this company neglects innovation.

Wow. Talk about an UNHEALTHY SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT!!! The above rant should become an internet meme for "entitled Karen/Carlson-style management".
No "hand feeds us", Champ. We are all professionals here. TD is NOT entitled to be toxic to its employees because it thinks it is the "hand that feeds us".
The "hand that feeds us" = Not enough parking for employees when fully staffed and have to park off-site and ride a bus, but TD can afford to build a new executive patio, a new executive briefing center, a new executive wing in A 2nd floor.....
KINDLY GFY
Give RG a break. He was rehired after the house was on fire to perfume the pig. He is expected to be a miracle worker with no technical ELT leadership.
RG is the one hindering RG's group. No meat and potatoes in his message, just generic repeat of some past sales pitch. The ff calls lost me
HA is better than OR and RP, but does she have the technical vision or experience to lead TDC R&D? Absolutely not. She’s a glorified product management executive and this is ki----g innovation. She’s actually hindering RG’s group. But I’ll give her credit for being a political animal. SM eats out of her hand. #GameOn
I will take HA a thousand times over RP and OR - at least I don't have her breathing down my neck about some specific technical decision, or firing me before telling him an idea was a fairy tale
2zad+1dskem72 and 1eav+1dskem72 get it - it is mirror time for many in this thread
Love the rant from a leftover at Pteradactl. With employees like that it’s easy to understand the downward spiral. .

Teradata has not had serious innovation since the late 1970's when it developed the bynet.
Go look at the experience of RP and HA and ask yourself why anyone would think they were qualified to run Teradata R&D? Seriously, and now there is no innovation. A self-inflicted wound and it’s probably too late to catch up.
They stopped hiring the most qualified senior leaders and it has come back to bite them. The last two engineering heads (RP and current HA) were painfully inept and CI experienced so no innovation has occurred in 5 years. The CTO SB is part-time and could not spell cloud until 2years ago. So sad
