I spent some time with Chevron and have friends with Exxon and CP as well as some of the higher end pipeline and refinery companies. Many of the people who couldn't hack it at a professional company and didn't have a clue about FE/Petroleum/Reservoir engineering etc eventually gravitated to McDonalds, Walmart and Oxy as their last resort. How are they working out over there? Did they fit right in and get up to speed with the Oxy level of expectations or did they have to give up completely?

If you see someone from Chevron (or any other big multi-national) coming to Oxy who isn't a manager, they either walk on water, or drown in 3 inches of it. My guess is far more of the latter.
Who cares about the website when you owe 30 billion dollars and you are ripping off the legacy shareholders who at least expected a meaningful dividend.

It's sooo funny people really believe one little "karma troll" is the cause of Oxy lovers grief here on this board. I guess it's not possible Oxy is really just a piece of sh-t company and more than one person believes so...even if you don't. I guess that would be too logical. What a bunch of old losers. Lol

When you read the postings on this OXY webpage, it affirms what the OP is saying. Want more proof, look at the OXY website, about 15 years behind the times, and they don't even have the guts to delineate who the C-suite is. What a laugh !!!!
Comparing McDonalds, WM and Oxy on the same level is not possible. Benefits at Oxy are much better!
