Based on the memo, looks like we finally know where HPE stands. Don't want to lose any revenue from the Gov't so everyone (even teleworkers) must comply or will be placed on unpaid leave.

The number of vaxxed i___ts on this thread trying to trying to humiliate those who question what really is to this point, just Biden mouthing some words and HPE bowing down to him, is humorous. There is no law yet. There is no regulation set by OSHA yet. To this point, it’s simply the President saying you better do this. And whether it’s because HPE doesn’t have the ba--s to push back or HPE is lefty company who is in bed with Democrats OR BOTH. It’s truly a shame that they value their virtue signaling more than their employees. The vast majority of their US employees work from home and cannot spread this disease to their fellow coworkers. It’s all a charade. Eat that!

I would say, the number of folks who understand risk analysis and absolute vs. relative risk with an ability to read the CDCs own Data Tracker data and make a rational decision, on this thread, is heart warming.

The Cargo Airline Association, The trade association for UPS, FedEx and others has written the Office of Business and Management warning about further supply chain disruptions.

The letter, sent to the Office of Management and Budget , asks the administration to postpone the deadline until “the first half of 2022.” At issue is the requirement by the Biden administration that federal workers be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8. Unlike private businesses, companies that act as federal contractors cannot opt out by instead submitting their workforces to frequent Covid testing.

It's not enough to slow down your own work. Every freedom loving employee must actively derail projects, delay deliverables and drive up costs. Make HPE realize that treason has a cost. If you look for a new job, I wish you the best of luck. If you WFH and you find a new job, don't resign from HPE, especially if your new job is also WFH. When you're working your new job, keep your HPE laptop open on the side. Answer emails and Slacks. Attend meetings that don't conflict with your new job. Use doctor or dentist excuses to miss meetings that do. Maybe work an hour on HPE stuff in the evening just to show some results. That's up to you. Collect two paychecks as long as you can.

Worst case scenario if exemptions fail is to bribe a technician. Slide the person administering the jab a $100.00 and have the person fill out the form. Do your research. Watch Project Veritas. The Jab is not safe and there's no reason to take it.

I am not "anti vax". I will not however allow myself to be injected with new technology mRNA or relatively new technology viral vector so-called vaccines. I am willing to take a more traditional vaccine built on more proven technology such as the Novavax when it is approved and available in the US. If HPE is unwilling to allow me to choose what goes into my own body then HPE is dead to me. I will submit a very convincing religious exemption. HPE will be contacted by a lawyer if they stonewall or reject. I will get the Novavax when it is available and then I will seek new employment. In the mean time, I will do the bare minimum to get by. They will get no more extra effort from me.

The vaccine does not protect you from getting sick, or from spreading it. It just lessens the symptoms, so how exaclty is being unvaccinated a threat? when vaccinated and unvaccinated folks can still spread covid just as easily. This is all part of a bigger political agenda and nothing to do with health. I agree with coming together with a lawsuit.

After 28 days, your unpaid leave becomes a termination. (Not a WFR with severance package - no unemployment eligible) - income stream is shut off. That's real classy... no, actually that's pretty trashy. Prepare for class action lawsuits.

Previous infection does not count as a medical exemption from what I read, you could have caught covid 3 times and have the best immunity in the world, and they will still require you to get the shot.

The crazy thing is if you quit and find another job, you have no clue if they will start a mandate on you as well.

If there was any question as to whether HPE cared about its employees personal wellbeing , you have your answer. They will throw any employee, regardless of years of service or experience, overboard for federal or state government dollars. Its all about the benjamins in the C suite.

Today the requirement is to get a government demanded experimental vaccine, but basically the federal US government can decree anything ---an-l swabs? -- chip implants?-- as long as it is done by executive order, HPE will bend the knee and you will comply or you will lose your income.

It has never been more clear how little HPE values its employees.

Very bizarre. I have to accept the high risks of getting vaccinated for a disease I just got over a couple weeks ago and from which my immune system is still on high alert, even though I'm 100% remote. Meanwhile, my doctor tells me I should not think about getting vaccinated sooner than a year post infection, but won't write any exemption letters because "I'm not getting into the middle of that political sh-t-show. I have mouths to feed too." <--- Afraid of losing that Medicare/Medicaid money. Yeah, don't think so. Hope they're ready for wrongful termination suits.
