In the onboarding stages and considering BP upstream. I don’t have any illusions of a long career. But curious, when I finally do get laid off, what is the severance package like? Trying to take that into account as well.

Wow that is strange: management are really progressive in my part of the org (P&O) and there’s lots to get involved in and develop. Which part of the org are you in?
It could be null as there is a breed of management that will fabricate drama and you will be marked as underperformed. In that case, don’t count on severance, just count on being booted off the island.
I still have my job, it’s great!
They have changed it to 2 weeks pay for every service year.... post reinvent
was 1 month pay for every service year up to 12, then 1 week pay for each year beyond that.
sounds like won't be so generous in the future.
