Seems like you missed his point. I get this. if you took your commute time and gave it to the company when you started working from home, which many did despite all the BS on here, then you’re going to have less time to give to the company now. Or else where should he pull his hours from? A “true professional” shouldn’t have to make up that time with less sleep in order to keep up.
COC won’t apply. Better find a job in tech to keep wfh. Oxy is still old school. We may even get cut one wfh a few years down the road. Nothing is guaranteed
That is unprofessional to “let” your performance slide. A true professional does whatever it takes to keep the quality and quantity of output up.
We are all sure your performance has been stellar since WFH and will only decrease once you return to the office 3 whole days per week. LMFAO
Just tell your boss that your performance will not be as good from now on because the company forces you to work like you should. Why don’t you just flip him/her a hand signal while you are at it. If you tell your boss this you won’t have to worry about your attitude rating next year.
@yrx Same here. With it becoming a reality, I’m trying to figure out how to let my manager know that they’re going to start seeing reduced performance from me. There’s nothing I can do about it. My productivity got better when we started working from home. Now that’s the expectation. There is absolutely no way I can maintain this when we go back so I’m either going to start delivering lower quality work or less work. Then figure out how to talk to my boss about this so they don’t hold it against me. It’s just going back to the level I was doing pre-COVID which was good then, so it’s not fair if I’m punished for it now.
Why would you be laid off for COVID reasons? What are “COVID reasons”?
Come Nov 2nd at 9 am if you are not seen in the office you will be tardy. You may even get a detention. Seriously though, if you want to keep the Monday and Friday WFH you should play by the rules.
To the person below: you mean because you’re not vaccinated? Or you were told you still have to report to work in spite of a requested medical exemption?
Dream on. No one is getting laid off and it will be up to individuals to quit. Now maybe they might over a VSP, but the doors will be open November the 2nd. You don't want to come back then you just will have to quit if your WFH is not extended for any reason. It just happened to me and I am now having to weigh quitting or not. But it is 100% my decision and at least I will get my vacation paid.
