UP hiring? Anyone coming back after more callbacks?

Got a callback letter 19 months after furlough. I’m still pssed off after they did us all that way- 20 minutes to pack your sht and off the property- thanks for the 10 years of injury free service, divorce and not being their for your kids except for Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. The only comeback I’m considering is to accept, go through the process, say hello to the crew that still remains then quit on the first or second day. Do these A-holes really think they will hire decent knowledgeable people that can replace the ones they kicked to the curb? There is no hotdog on the planet that would make me come back!

Hopefully you are in a better position now. My question is why did you stay so long with UP with all this going on in your personal life? No job is worth losing you family.

Op sorry to hear of your misfortune this is the exact reason I wouldn’t recommend this job to my family of friends. I hope you have found a better way to make a living.

I already refused my call back! I had well over 10 years of service and I was treated pretty much the same way. I won't give this company anymore of my time.
