Boeing (BA) shares moved lower Thursday following reports the plane maker
is contending with a new defect on its 787 Dreamliner, the latest in a series
of production problems that have delayed aircraft deliveries.

The latest problem involves certain titanium parts that are weaker than they
should be on 787s built over the past three years,
the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter said.
The discovery is among other Dreamliner issues that have left Boeing stuck
with more than $25 billion (U.S.) of the jets in its inventory, the Journal said.

Correction - if the poppy takes off... Nobody is buying those poppies any more... Boeing has spend all the money paying execs in a form of a stock buybacks... It will be years till (if) Boeing recovers; no pay raises, no promotions, shrinking benefits. When I was with the company I was brainwashed that Boeing has benefits that are the best in 'industry'. I do not work for BA any more - guess what - my benefits are much better than those BA offers.
