American Freight (not Harbor Freight) is more likely to pick up Sears and Kmart properties.

Buy Sears brand and rebrand hometowns to Kmart? Why buy the brand then? Why not buy the Kmart brand so that rebranding to Kmart wouldn't be copyright infringement? If you are going to make up stuff, think it thru.

Nope, heard from Mr. Lampert DIRECTLY that the stores are being sold to Ollie's. Given the grade of merchandise left in the stores it'll be a downgrade for them but I'm confident they'll manage.

Not what I heard and I’m in HE. I heard that Harbor Freight is buying the rights to all
Sears Hometown Stores and converting them into Fotomats. All remaining Sears Full Line stores are going to be converted into Woolworth’s, and all Kmarts into Ben Franklins or Woolco stores. You’re welcome. You heard it here first
