How exciting this is. Giant Eagle is so gracious to give its salary team members a .24 cent an hour raise. Thank you so much Giant Eagle. You make working 7 days a week and paid for 5 and working 10 hour days and being paid for 8 all worth it.. Keep up the good work and keep those profits in your pocket..

Yea I heard the BS for years. Company isn’t doing good. Sales are down etc etc
You wonder how daddy’s daughter can sleep at night knowing how little her company pays its employees
Well in our store the bakery had cakes going out of date so the put them in the break room for employees to eat.. I guess that makes up for the low wages.
Retail store employees get $12 an hour.
The hourly at Butler Refrigerated Meats get paid nearly $25 /hr. They also have a selection bonus that they call “the clubs.”Team Members can win the top prize of $10,000 in a drawing. Butler Meats pays out roughly $150,000 each year for the club bonuses.
I wonder how much of a raise daddy’s daughter got for a raise this year?
Yeah, both of you are pretty much right. The raises are accurate for salary management and we are absolutely ashamed each Thursday when cashing our lives away.
Meanwhile the CEO is bringing in millions a year paired with her husband who is the CEO of Echo Real Estate, the same company we share offices with and use to handle our Real Estate side of the company. Conflict of Interest you ask? Nope, what’s unethical about this situation?
A publicly traded company would be sitting in font of congress answering some tough questions!
Just make sure you don’t so much as take a high-five from a vendor or your unethical bribery acceptance will cost you your minimum wage management job folks!
What a great company to be enslaved with!
If you really got a .23 raise from a company that has over 8 billion in sales you should be ashamed to work for that company.
This company is a JOKE
