Verizon doesn't care if you get the shot, this gives them an easy way to drop a bunch of employees and not pay out a severance, if they cared about employees the customer facing people would be required to get the shot ASAP, not wait until the slowest month of the year to enforce it. They get employees through the holidays and they ax people during the slow months....can't make this sh-t up!
Setting the date for Retail employees tells you that they don't really care about your health. If the vaccine works and Is good for employees and good for business, they should want everyone to get it as soon as possible. Especially those that have the most contact with people. So why the Feb 2022 date? It is so transparent that they are more concerned with retail employees leaving during the precious Holiday selling season. Disgusting!
And stop trying to hide behind the government mandate. We know you were high fiving when that came out. Stand up for what you believe one way or the other and let the chips fall where they may. Makes you look totally weak.

Union stores aren't exempt. The union won't be either. Look at AT&T. Union members mandated.

Here we go. I know for a fact everyone in our store is out. We aren't saying anything either. We will just work up until Dec 8th and then we are all not showing up. Lets see how many good employees Verizon loses.
