Now that politicians have discovered that wind and solar is an unreliability energy source it appears that upstream O&G folks are going back to work.

Everyone is my area (South Texas) is back to work; my personal email in-box is filling with 'looking for' notices.

If you have solid experience working upstream in a core position, and you're not liking EM, you're going to soon be able to 'select' a new position with a different company.

I hope your right. From stock to OnG prices I don’t know what’s real any more. All I know is a ton of mony is being printed out for so called green energy. I guess when we are in streets people I’ll figure it out.

It’s a combination of many things. You have an increase in demand for energy, O&G or green doesn’t matter, because winter is coming and the recovery globally from the pandemic is ongoing. You also have a severe, and understandable, lack of interest from many young people in entering the O&G industry. So you have an increase in jobs for green and O&G and you have many people not considering it regardless of pay. Hence the “looking for” messages.
