Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Do where do all the Unions stand on The mandate?

Federal contractor or not is this whole deal supposed to be going through collective bargaining for agreement employees or not? Nccc contract updates all say we have made no viable proposals worth considering and are overpaid and under worked. Are the union heads doing anything or just tossing around our dues while swapping fluids blowing class 1's on the back 9?

Op I think they are too fat to stand. These unions are worthless money grubbing clowns. IMO

What I don't understand is why are they mandating the vaccine for those of us who work but if you sit at home collecting food stamps or welfare, it isn't required.

And just what does " Medically Disqualified" mean? Are we disabled now? Can I not physically perform duties? I cannot find a straight answer on it. They are not saying they are going to fire you. I think its an out for them.

The $300 did not cover the 2 days I missed with vaccine side effects.

Check out the union website. They sent a letter to UP on Oct 1st clearly opposing a mandated vaccine. They are not for, nor against the shot. However, they are adamantly opposed to the employer forcing it on the workers. The have also spoken to the RRB and gotten clarification for those who are medically disqualified.
