The UP mandate complies with Texas law by allowing religious exemptions. “ The order states that "no entity in Texas" can enforce vaccination against anyone in the state who objects "for any reason of personal conscience, based on a religious belief, or for medical reasons, including prior recovery from COVID-19," according to a news release from the governor's office.”
The Texas Governor is an id--t and this is just grandstanding. It will be shot down in court. Federal law always takes precedence over state law.
It will be a legal foothold for Texas residents when the lawsuits begin.
This is the first step required for Texas to be able to gain standing to sue the Federal government.
Unfortunately, don't see it mattering. Will be like ma------a, states say you can use it,but company says no.
