Do many still really think that after all those who refuse the vaccine and leave UP, this will continue to be 'business as usual' as someone here said? I am not optimistic that it will ever be 'business as usual' again and I think more and more that it will get worse and worse here. The whole situation is worrisome and I think the worst will be for those who stay here.

The Railroad will keep running December 9, whether or not you are still here. At the very most, your absence will be an inconvenience for a few days, then you'll be quickly forgotten while the other 30,000 of us keep things running.
FACT: No place else with a vaccine mandate has lost more than 1% of its employees because of it. You will barely be missed.
November 10. One man crews. Cross craft work. That's what they want. We dont have enough people bring in the contractors.
There is no job security anymore. There is no EEO policy. There is union enforcement. There is no help. We are on own own. The industrial complex enacted laws and rules that protect them and their money. There is nothing to protect us, only them. The only way to make a change is to hit them where it hurts. It all comes down to the dollar Bill.
What used to take me 1 hour will now take me 4+ hours for pick ups and set outs. I have to be 100% rule compliant.
I don’t think there will be many leave because of her vaccine. The talk of mass walk-outs is just talk, nothing more. This reminds me of all the fake strike postings. A few might leave, but most will realize it’s not worth giving up your job, and for workers who have been here longer, their retirement, just to make a political statement that is not grounded anywhere in science.
I am going to f up a consist today to make myself fell better how the company has been treating us.
If by business as usual you mean being rated the worst company to work for in America every year then yes it will be business as usual don’t worry.
being bird dogged every day now. maybe some forced overtime for those who stay, and am sure union will agree with the company.
